Rain Water Harvesting

A two thousand square foot roof can produce 1200 gallons with a half inch rain.  The average rain fall in the Triad Region of North Carolina is between 40 and 55 inches per year, which can produce 66,000 gallons of water to use in your irrigation system.  Think of the savings you will have purchasing water for your lawn.  Records indicate that 50% to 70% of the water we use is for irrigation alone.  Water is our most precious resource so we must conserve it.

Free yourself from the clutches of the drought and have the lawn you want, no matter what sort of restrictions are put in place. A Rainwater Harvesting System from Eric W. Jones can use captured water to supplement as much as 60% of your home or business' water needs, from laundry to toilets to pool maintenance and lawn care.

The system collects rainwater as it falls, filters it, and stores it for use in any or all of the areas of your home or business that don't require pure, potable water (such as drinking and bathing). The design will be tailored to suit your needs--even if that means installing the storage unit underground. Systems can include any combination of above-ground rain water cisterns, barrels, and underground tanks and pumps used to integrate them into your irrigation system or tie them into your home's toilets.
